Terms of service

These terms cover the Part-66 Prep website and the Pro subscription sold on it. The mobile app has its own terms at https://bisaitechnologies.com/legal/part66_pro/terms.

1. What this is

Part-66 Prep is an independent study aid for the basic knowledge examinations for an aircraft maintenance licence under EASA Part-66 (Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014, Annex III) and UK Part-66. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), any national aviation authority or any Part-147 approved maintenance training organisation. It is not an approved Part-147 course, does not book examinations, does not record examination credits and does not issue any certificate. Every question is original and written from the published syllabus; the site never contains recalled examination questions or "real past papers". Regulations and exam standards change: check the official source before relying on any fact, and follow your training organisation, the approved maintenance data and the law over anything on this site.

2. Who may use the site

You must be at least 16 years old. Pro is for your own personal exam preparation.

3. Accounts

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox: it is how you prove you own the subscription. One subscription is for one person; don't share sign-in links.

4. Subscriptions and billing

  • Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (every week, every month or every 3 months) priced in pounds sterling (GBP) and billed by Stripe. Prices shown include VAT where applicable. If you pay with a card in another currency, your card issuer converts the amount and may charge a fee.
  • It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Account → Manage billing; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for and you won't be charged again.
  • If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays on for a short grace period (3 days) while Stripe retries; after that it switches off until payment succeeds.
  • Prices can change. We'll email you at least 14 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.

5. Your right to cancel and refunds

  • Immediate access. Pro is digital content supplied as soon as you pay. At checkout you ask us to start straight away and acknowledge that, under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, your 14-day right to cancel ends once you start using Pro.
  • When we refund. If you contact contact@bisaitechnologies.com within 14 days of a charge, we refund the charge in full if you hadn't used Pro since a first subscription, were charged twice, were charged after cancelling, had an accidental renewal you haven't used since (reported within 7 days), or hit a technical fault we couldn't fix within 7 days.   • Faulty content. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and equivalent EU law, digital content must be as described and of satisfactory quality. If it isn't, you are entitled to a repair or replacement and, if that isn't possible, a price reduction or refund.
  • Otherwise payments for a started period are not refundable. There is no pass guarantee: the readiness estimate is a study aid, and we can't control the official examination.

6. Acceptable use

Don't copy, scrape, resell or republish the questions, explanations or notes; they are our original work and protected by copyright. Don't try to bypass the paywall or disrupt the service.

7. Liability

The site is provided for exam preparation. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, examination or training fees, travel costs, lost income or the outcome of any examination or licence application, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will post the new date here. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, United States. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in its courts.
